How quickly can you start a project after I approve a quote?+
Most interior and handyman projects start within 3–7 business days. Exterior painting and pressure washing depend on weather windows but typically begin within 7–14 days. HOA-restricted properties may need an additional 1–2 weeks for color or scope approval, which we help coordinate.
Do you provide free written estimates?+
Yes. Every estimate is free, written, line-itemed, and valid for 30 days. We measure the actual surfaces (not just rooms), confirm paint grade and color count, and itemize prep work so there are no change-orders mid-project. Most quotes are delivered within one business hour.
Are your crews licensed, insured, and background-checked?+
Yes — Purple Painting & Services LLC carries full general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Every team member is W-2, uniformed, background-checked, and trained on our prep, safety, and clean-up standards before stepping onto a job site.
What paint brands do you use?+
We default to Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Duration for exteriors, Sherwin-Williams Cashmere and Behr Marquee for interiors, and Sherwin-Williams Loxon or SuperPaint for stucco and CMU. We never substitute bargain or builder-grade paint without telling you — your written quote names the exact product and finish.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?+
Every project includes a written workmanship warranty: 5 years on exterior painting, 3 years on interior painting, and 1 year on pressure washing and handyman work. If a coated surface peels, blisters, or fails from a workmanship defect during the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.
What's the difference between soft-washing and pressure washing?+
Soft-washing uses low pressure (under 500 PSI) and a biodegradable cleaning solution to remove algae, mildew, and mold from delicate surfaces like roofs, stucco, and painted siding. High-pressure washing (1,500–4,000 PSI) is used on concrete driveways, pavers, and pool decks to strip embedded dirt. We use both — picking the right method for each surface so nothing gets damaged.
Do you handle HOA color approvals and paperwork?+
